Under the direction of the Production Supervisor, operates digital print and paper cutting equipment/machines to produce printed products in accordance with specific customer orders/instructions.
Duties and Responsibilities
Operates various types of digital printing, cutting, creasing and finishing equipment to produce jobs in accordance with customer specifications.
Makes minor adjustments to image quality utilizing printer software applications.
Clears paper jams and other problems encountered in digital printing process
Ensures there is stock available for each job.
Replenishes consumables for print equipment.
Conducts quality control checks and documents same in accordance with standardized operating procedures.
Communicates status of materials or job information to supervisor, customer service, warehouse production and following shift if required.
Performs all assigned work effectively and on schedule.
Follows all safety practices in operating mechanized equipment.
Follows instructions accurately.
Maintains a clean, safe and clutter free environment.
Performs other job duties as assigned.
