Recently, the Art Institute of Chicago released over 44,000 artworks under a license known as Creative Commons Zero.
These pieces are some of the world’s most cherished artworks and part of The Art Institute of Chicago’s massive collection—nearly 300,000 works of art.
What does that mean to you?
You not only have open access to the digital archives of 40,000 of those high resolution pieces, you also have the rights to do with them what you wish (for the most part).
