Write and Mail a Handwritten to Spread Some Cheer

With so many people isolated at home with few to no visitors, it’s the perfect moment to pull out a pen and paper and write a handwritten note to let someone know you care.

Fear not if you are among those who don’t keep notecards and stamps on hand. Just go online to the U.S. Postal Service store where you’ll find a bunch of notecards, stationery, and postcards. Some cards are even conveniently bundled with matching postage stamps! They are reasonably priced and well-designed too. As a matter of fact, I just paused writing this post for a few minutes to order some myself.

Now, more than ever there’s a need to reach out to others in a meaningful way. Phone calls, texts, and emails will certainly lift someone’s spirit in the moment — but there’s nothing like the power of a handwritten note to keep someone smiling long after it’s received.

Ready, set, go! Grab some cards and stamps and start writing!

P.S. Handwritten notes are a great way to engage the kids in a meaningful activity that is sure to bring smiles to the faces of relatives and family friends.
