NewsThe USPS has announced a proposed postage rate increase that will go into effect sometime in the coming weeks. Originally scheduled for April 26, 2015, these new shipping and mailing prices will most likely take effect sometime towards the end of May 2015 after review is done by the Postal Regulatory Commission (PRC).

First-ounce stamp rates are not changing. However, most other prices are going up, including meter rates. The increases are around 1-3% for most automation classes, and some are around 10% or more for non-machinable mail.
