Job Summary:
Digital Dog Direct is currently searching for a Quality Assurance Associate with experience in the print & mail industry. In this role the incumbent will perform duties as defined in the description below in support of delivering quality services to our customers.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Production and Compliance Manager, the Quality Assurance Associate is responsible for developing quality control procedures, inspecting work in process and finished products, and assisting with establishing on-going continual improvement initiatives. The individual is accountable for meeting performance objectives and ensuring high quality output.
• Read and interpret job instructions and compliance requirements
• Perform physical inspection of product
• Audit quality control procedures
• Review of customer proof and seeds
• Assist production team when necessary
• Follow quality assurance guidelines and safety protocol
• Manage non-conformance and corrective action
• Train other associates on quality assurance procedures
• Pay close attention to detail
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• One (1) year quality control experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Skills
• Read and interpret documents such as standard operating procedures, work instructions, and procedure manuals.
• MS Office proficiency
• Strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills
• Knowledge of USPS postal regulations.
• Capable of interpreting barcodes for quality control purposes
• Ability to work smart in a fast-paced environment
• Teamwork, ability to work with others
• Can work independently and self-motivated
